Which AI model does Cosmos use?

Cosmos thinks with SuperCosmos by Clatter Labs. The current version is SuperCosmos 1.1 (since Nov 2, 2026).

Key facts#

• Three tiers: Flash (fastest), Max (thinks before acting) and Heavy (thinks longest).
• A 1M-token context window (1,048,576 tokens).
• Text input only: it doesn't take images.

Choosing a tier per run#

Set tier when you create a run: auto (the default, Cosmos routes each step), flash, max or heavy. Tokens are billed at the tier each call actually ran on, and an auto run is billed at Flash rates.
