Can I use the Agent API on the Free plan?

Yes. The Agent API is generally available on every plan, Free included.

How it's paid for#

Plans cover app usage (Line CLI, Cosmos Agent on Telegram, Code Buckets storage). They never cover API calls. Agent API runs are pay as you go from your credits:

• New accounts start with $5 of free credit, once per account.
• You can top up any amount from $1 to $800 per purchase in the Console under Billing › Credits. Credits don't expire.

What happens when credit runs out#

New requests answer 402 out_of_credits, and a run that runs out midway ends as failed with error.code: "out_of_credits". Your plan and app usage aren't affected.

Check your balance#

Look at Billing in the Console, or call GET /v1/account with a key that has account:read.
