What is the Cosmos Agent API?
In plain words: you write down a coding job, and an AI helper does it on its own computer in the cloud, then tells you what it did.
The Cosmos Agent API is a way to give real coding work to Cosmos, Clatter Labs' AI agent, from your own code. You describe a task in plain language, and Cosmos plans it, writes and runs code, uses a browser, saves files and then reports back with an answer.
How it works in one minute#
- You create an API key in the Console.
- You send a request to
https://api.agent.clatterlabs.xyz/v1/runswith your instructions. This starts a run. - Cosmos works on your account's own cloud computer: a terminal, files, a browser, a database, storage and hosting.
- You follow the run live over an event stream, or check on it from time to time.
- When it finishes, you read its
output(the final answer) and anyfilesit saved.
What it is good for#
Features, fixes, tests, scripts, small sites and research, end to end. For bigger jobs Cosmos can split the work across sub-agents that run at the same time.
What it costs#
The Agent API works on every plan, Free included. Runs are paid from your credits, pay as you go. New accounts start with $5 of free credit.
Next: Start your first run or read the Agent overview.
