I get a CORS or network error calling the API from my web page. Why?
The Agent API allows cross-origin requests (that's how Try it works), but you shouldn't call it from your own web page with a real key: anyone could read the key from your page.
Fix the design#
Call the API from your backend, keep the key there, and have your page talk to your backend.
If you're just testing#
Use the Try it button on the API reference pages. A CORS-looking error can also be a network block on your side (an ad blocker or company firewall).
