What happens if Cosmos needs to ask me something during a run?

FAQUpdated

There's no way to answer Cosmos during a run, so it makes reasonable choices and reports them in output. To avoid surprises:

  • State assumptions: "Assume Node 20 and npm."
  • Give a rule for unknowns: "If anything is ambiguous, pick the simplest option and list your assumptions in the reply."
  • Say when to stop: "If the tests can't run, stop and explain why instead of changing them."

Then start a follow-up run with your answers if needed.
