Should I change temperature or the tier to improve answers?
They do different jobs:
- Tier (Flash → Max → Heavy): more thinking before answering. Use it when answers are wrong or shallow.
- Temperature (Model API, 0 to 2): more or less randomness. Use it when answers are too samey or too wild.
Raising temperature won't make an answer smarter, and switching tiers won't make it more creative.
