Does a 262K-token prompt cost the same as a 263K-token one?

No. The 1.5× rate applies to the whole input once the prompt is over 262K tokens, so there's a jump at the boundary. On Flash:

If your prompts sit near 262K, trimming a little can cut input cost by a third.
