Can I resume a stream from where it stopped?

FAQUpdated

The Model API has no endpoint to resume a broken stream. Two options:

  1. Retry the same request (simplest; you pay for the new tokens).
  2. Continue: add the partial text as an assistant message and a user message like "Continue exactly where you stopped." Check the join for repeated words.

The SuperCosmos 1.1 launch notes say SuperCosmos now picks up cut-off responses and finishes them without repeating text; that refers to how Clatter Labs handles interruptions on its side, not to a resume API you call.
