Is my traffic to the Model API encrypted?

Yes. The Model API is served over HTTPS only (with HSTS), so requests and responses are encrypted in transit. The Privacy Policy describes encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, with extra application-level encryption for secrets and API keys; Clatter Labs stores only a keyed hash of your API key.
