Why don't I see X-RateLimit headers on some responses?

FAQUpdated

X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining describe your key's limit, so they come on keyed responses such as POST /v1/chat/completions. GET /v1/models doesn't need a key, so don't rely on it for rate limit information. Also check your HTTP client actually exposes headers (see reading headers in Python).

Good to know#

  • Model ids: supercosmos-flash, supercosmos-max, supercosmos-heavy (SuperCosmos 1.1). Which to call
  • Every call shows in Console › Logs and Usage as Model API, with its price. See what you spent
  • If calls fail unexpectedly, check status.clatterlabs.com before debugging further.
