Is the rate limit lower while I'm using the free credit?

The documented rate limit belongs to each key (10, 30, 60 or 120 requests per minute, chosen when you create it). The docs don't describe a different limit for free credit or for any plan. If you need more throughput, create a key with a higher limit.
