How do I monitor abuse warnings across my app?

How-toUpdated
  1. Read x-clatter-notice on every response (it's exposed for CORS too).
  2. When it's abuse_warning, log it with your user id, X-Request-Id and the decoded x-clatter-notice-text.
  3. Alert immediately: a second strike within 30 days suspends your account for 24 hours.
  4. Block or rate-limit the user who triggered it.
  5. Review your input filter for what slipped through.

Good to know#

  • Model ids: supercosmos-flash, supercosmos-max, supercosmos-heavy (SuperCosmos 1.1). Which to call
  • If calls fail unexpectedly, check status.clatterlabs.com before debugging further.
  • Your key's account is responsible for your end users' text under the Abuse policy. What it means for apps
