I made an image public again and its old link still gives 404. Why?
That's by design. When an image stops being public, its id is retired for good: the old link answers 404 and keeps doing so.
If you make the image public again, it gets a new id and a new public_url. Update your pages with the new link. GET …/objects/{object_id}/public-url returns the current one at any time.
