Why is code.ref null on my bucket?

code.ref is null until a zip has been unpacked into the bucket's code tree. You'll see null when:

• the bucket is new,
• you've uploaded only assets (not zips),
• preview is off, so zips aren't unpacked,
• the zip is still processing, or its preview failed.

Upload a .zip with preview on and wait for the code.updated event.
