My run stopped before finishing a big task. Did it hit the step limit?
A run takes up to 150 steps. Very large jobs can need more.
How to handle big jobs#
- Split the work: "Run 1: scaffold and commit to the Cloud Repo named shop. Run 2: build checkout from the Cloud Repo named shop."
- Ask each run to commit its work and summarise what's left in
output. - Start the next run with that summary.
Check steps on the run, and its status and error, to see how it ended.
