How does the per-key rate limit work?
Each API key has its own limit, chosen when you create it: 10, 30 (default), 60 or 120 requests per minute.
Headers#
| Header | Meaning |
|---|---|
X-RateLimit-Limit | The key's requests per minute |
X-RateLimit-Remaining | Requests left in the current window |
Retry-After | On 429: seconds to wait |
Over the limit answers 429 rate_limited. Wait the Retry-After seconds; don't retry in a tight loop.
