How does the abuse policy work on Cosmos on Telegram?
Clatter Labs' abuse policy applies to the bot.
| Strike | What happens |
|---|---|
| First in 30 days | Warning. Your message is answered and Cosmos sends a ⚠️ warning. |
| Second within 30 days | 24-hour pause of your Clatter Labs account on every product: Telegram, Line CLI, the APIs and the Console Playground. |
When the 24 hours end, your account works again by itself. Your plan, credits, keys and data aren't touched.
What counts#
Insulting or cursing at the assistant. These don't count: swearing about a bug, a game or another person in passing ("this exam is killing me"), quoted text, or asking what a word means or how to translate it. Only your newest message is checked.
On Telegram specifically#
- A warning arrives as a separate ⚠️ message from the bot.
- During a pause, the bot answers with a message saying when it lifts; resending doesn't help.
- Cosmos itself stays friendly if you insult it, and never curses back.
