Cosmos says "I hit my step limit for one message"

TroubleshootingUpdated

For each message you send, Cosmos can take up to 12 steps (each search, page read, file or tool use is a step). Big requests can use them all, and then it says: "I hit my step limit for one message. Tell me to continue if you want more."

Reply "continue". It picks up with the context of what it already did.

Tip: split big jobs into smaller requests ("first find the sources", then "now write the summary").
