What does "1M tokens" mean?
1M means one million. A token is a small piece of text, often a short word or part of a longer word. So "a 1M-token context window" means SuperCosmos can look at about a million of those pieces at once: enough for many long documents or a large part of a codebase.
Prices are also "per 1M tokens": Flash costs $1.60 to read a million tokens and $3.40 to write a million.
