My script prints "Line Code was retired" on stderr. Do I need to change it?
Your script still works. Since 0.9.0-beta, -m line-code runs on SuperCosmos and Line prints a one-line notice on stderr, for example:
line: Line Code was retired on Nov 1, 2026. Line now runs on SuperCosmos 1.1 (Flash, Max, Heavy). Using supercosmos (max) for this run.
The notice goes to stderr, so your script's stdout (the answer, or JSON with --output-format json) is unchanged.
Make it permanent#
Replace the flags:
| Old | New |
|---|---|
-m line-code -e fast | -m supercosmos -e flash |
-m line-code -e ultra | -m supercosmos -e max |
-m line-code -e ultra-fast | -m supercosmos -e heavy |
If you passed -e ultra together with SuperCosmos, Line also maps it ("ultra was a Line Code effort; using SuperCosmos max").
