How do I use Line CLI with VS Code or another editor?
- Open your project in the editor.
- Open its integrated terminal (in VS Code: View › Terminal).
- Run
line.
Line edits files on disk, so your editor shows the changes right away. Use /diff or your editor's source control view to review them.
Tips#
- If
lineisn't found in the editor's terminal, restart the editor after installing so it picks up the new PATH. - Editors' terminals sometimes capture keys; if Shift+Enter doesn't add a new line, use Ctrl+J.
