I'm new to coding. What is the Console, in simple words?

ExplainerUpdated

Think of the Console as the control room for your Clatter Labs account.

  • Your plan is like a membership. It decides how much you can use the apps, like Line CLI. Everyone starts on the Free plan.
  • Credits are like money in a wallet, used when your own programs talk to Clatter Labs. New accounts get $5 to start.
  • API keys are like secret passwords for your programs. A program shows the key to prove it's allowed to use your account. Keep them secret, like a house key.
  • Your Account ID (it starts with CL-) is like your account number. Programs send it together with the key.
  • The Playground is a place to talk to the AI right in your browser, without writing any code.
  • Logs is a list of everything that used your account, so you can see what happened.

A safe way to start#

  1. Sign in at console.clatterlabs.com.
  2. Open Playground and ask SuperCosmos a question.
  3. Look at the cost shown under the answer. It's usually a tiny fraction of a cent for a short chat.

If you're under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying anything.
