My old Community post still shows up in search engines
Community posts and profiles were visible to the public and to search engines while the site was open (Privacy Policy, Section 17). After the closure, the pages themselves only show the closure notice, but search engines may keep an old title or snippet in their results until they visit the page again.
What you can do#
- Wait. Results usually update the next time the search engine crawls the page.
- Ask the search engine to refresh or remove the outdated result using its own removal or "outdated content" tool.
- Ask us to delete the data. See Can I have my Community data deleted?
Clatter Labs can't control how quickly other companies update their search results.
