I get 400 bad_chunk or bad_chunk_size. What's wrong?

TroubleshootingUpdated
  • bad_chunk: the index isn't between 0 and chunk_count − 1.
  • bad_chunk_size: the chunk isn't exactly chunk_size bytes. Only the last chunk may be shorter (it's the remainder).

Common causes#

  • Splitting the file with a different size than 16,777,216 bytes.
  • Starting the upload with the wrong size, so chunk_count doesn't match the file.
  • Counting chunks from 1 instead of 0.

If the size was wrong, abort the upload and start again with the exact byte size.
