What do I need before I can call the Agent API?

You need four things:

1. A Clatter Labs account. Create one at accounts.clatterlabs.com.
2. Your Account ID. Sign in to the Console; the ID (CL-…) is on the Home page with a copy button.
3. An API key. In API keys › Create key, tick runs:write and runs:read (and account:read if you want to read your balance). Copy the clsk_… key straight away; it's shown once.
4. Credits. New accounts get $5 of free credit. Top up from $1 to $800 per purchase in Billing › Credits.

Then check everything works#

With a valid key, the answer includes your key's permissions and rate limit, your balance and can_run.
