The Model API has no embeddings. What can I do?

Embeddings aren't available (404 not_supported). Options that work with the Model API alone:

• Keyword or full-text search in your own database to find candidates, then let SuperCosmos answer from them.
• Let the model rank: send a short list of candidate passages and ask which are relevant.
• Use the long window: with 1M tokens of context, smaller document sets can simply be included (mind the 1.5× rate above 262K input tokens).
