Line CLI ignores my settings.json

Right file? /config shows the path Line uses (~/.config/line/settings.json, or inside LINE_CONFIG_DIR if set). Hooks also go in ~/.line/settings.json.
Valid JSON? A missing comma or a comment makes Line fall back to defaults. Check with python3 -m json.tool ~/.config/line/settings.json.
Right key names? See settings.
Restart Line after editing by hand.
Project files can only add ask/deny rules, not allow.
