How do I set a daily quota or monthly limit for a team member?

1. Open Team. For a new person use Invite member; for an existing member select Edit.
2. Under Limits, choose the unit: Dollars or Tokens.
3. Enter a Daily quota and/or a Monthly limit (spending limit).
4. Leave a box empty for no limit ("Leave a limit empty for none.").
5. Save. Changes apply right away.

Dollars are measured at list price. When a member reaches the daily quota, their requests answer 429 team_daily_quota_reached until the next day; at the monthly limit, 429 team_spend_limit_reached. Both include resets_at.

Member limits sit inside your plan's own limits; they can't give anyone more than your plan allows.

Good to know#

• Invites expire after 7 days; Resend refreshes them.
• A person can be on one team at a time.
