Why must I know the exact file size before starting an upload?
size tells Code Buckets how many chunks to expect (chunk_count) and reserves that much space in the bucket. If the size is wrong:
- the last chunk won't be the expected length (
400 bad_chunk_size), or - completion reports missing chunks.
Read the size from the file system (wc -c, os.path.getsize), and abort and restart the upload if you started with the wrong value.
