What stops someone tampering with my stored files?

FAQUpdated

AES-256-GCM is authenticated encryption. Each chunk is bound to its object and position, so a chunk that was changed, swapped or replayed into another file fails authentication. A tampered chunk fails instead of returning wrong bytes.

Add X-Content-SHA256 on uploads and compare hashes on downloads for your own end-to-end check.
