Are uploads and downloads protected in transit?
Yes. All API and Console traffic uses HTTPS (TLS), and public links are served over HTTPS too.
For extra assurance that what arrived is exactly what you sent, add X-Content-SHA256 to each chunk upload. Chunk downloads include the chunk's SHA-256 in the same header.
