How does Code Buckets decide a file is an image?

FAQUpdated

A file counts as an image when:

  • its upload's content_type is image/*, or
  • content_type was empty or application/octet-stream and the extension is one of .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .webp, .avif, .svg, .ico, .bmp, .tif, .heic, .jxl.

Images are served on img.cdn.clatterlabs.xyz with an opaque id; everything else on files.cdn-buckets.clatterlabs.xyz.
