Which Code Buckets requests are safe to retry?
Safe to repeat:
- Chunk uploads: same bytes answer
duplicate: true; different bytes replace the chunk. - Completing an upload: completing twice is safe.
- Chunk operations after
502 storage_error: safe to repeat. - Reads (GET).
Not safe to blindly repeat:
- Creating a project, bucket or upload: a second request creates a second one. If a create timed out, list first to see whether it worked.
