Do I need jq or special tools to use the Code Buckets API?
No. The API is plain HTTPS and JSON. The docs' cURL example uses jq (to read the upload id) and split (to cut chunks) for convenience, but any language's HTTP client works. Python and JavaScript examples are in the Uploads guide.
