Is it worth upgrading from Free to Developer?
The biggest change is how often usage refills:
- Free refills once a month, on the 1st (UTC).
- Developer refills every 5.5 hours (the window) and every 7 days (the week), with about 15× Free's usage overall.
You also get 25 GB of Code Buckets storage instead of 1 GB. If you regularly run out mid-month and wait for the 1st, Developer is usually worth it. If you rarely use up Free, stay put. API usage costs the same on both; it's always paid from credits.
