Is it worth buying just $1 of credits?

Yes. $1 is the smallest purchase. At Flash prices, a short call of 1,000 input and 500 output tokens costs about $0.0033, so $1 covers roughly 300 such calls. Agent API runs cost more because they also use a cloud computer.
