What is the "Model API trial" in my billing?
Before October 29, 2026, accounts got a one-time $5 Model API trial. Anything left is spent first; Logs shows Paid by: Trial, and Billing shows "Plus $N left of your Model API trial". New accounts get the $5 free credit instead.
Good to know#
- The Console and docs state credits don't expire.
- Buy any whole amount from $1 to $800 per purchase.
- Credits can't be moved between accounts.
