Do I need credits just to try the Playground?

The Playground is billed like the APIs, from credits. New accounts start with $5 of free credit, and a short Flash chat costs a fraction of a cent, so most people can experiment for a long time before buying anything.

Good to know#

• The Console and docs state credits don't expire.
• Buy any whole amount from $1 to $800 per purchase.
• Credits can't be moved between accounts.
