How much credit should I buy for a hackathon or a demo?

1. Try your app in the Playground and note the cost of a typical request.
2. Multiply by how many requests you expect over the event.
3. Add a buffer, for example double, for retries and longer answers.
4. Subtract what's left of your $5 free credit.

Because any whole amount from $1 to $800 lands within seconds, you can start small and top up during the event. On a team, the owner buys for everyone.

Good to know#

• The Console and docs state credits don't expire.
• Credits can't be moved between accounts.
• Plans cover app usage (Line CLI, Cosmos Agent, Telegram); credits pay for the Model API and Agent API on every plan.
