Why does my event stream stop after 10 minutes?

TroubleshootingUpdated

That's by design. A single connection to GET /v1/runs/{id}/events lasts up to 10 minutes. When it ends you receive:

event: timeout
data: {"message": "...", "after": 37}

The run continues. Reconnect with ?after=37 (the after value from the event) and you'll pick up from the next step.

If your stream ends sooner without a timeout event, a proxy or load balancer between you and the API may be closing idle connections. Reconnect the same way.
