Which SuperCosmos model should I pick in the Playground?
| Model | Described as | Use for |
|---|---|---|
| SuperCosmos Flash | Fastest. Quick answers and everyday tasks | Questions, small edits, quick drafts |
| SuperCosmos Max | Plans and builds. Multi-step work and debugging | Features, debugging, multi-file changes |
| SuperCosmos Heavy | Deliberate and precise. Hard problems | Hard bugs, careful reasoning |
All three are the same model with different effort, so they share the 1M-token context window. Higher effort is slower and costs more per token. Start with Flash and move up if the answer misses the point.
Good to know#
- Playground use is billed from your API credits, like the Model API and Agent API.
