How do I make sure my upload wasn't corrupted?

How-toUpdated

Send the chunk's SHA-256 (hex) in X-Content-SHA256:

SHA=$(sha256sum part-00000 | cut -d' ' -f1)
curl -X PUT $CB/v1/uploads/UPLOAD_ID/chunks/0 \
  -H "X-Content-SHA256: $SHA" -H "Content-Type: application/octet-stream" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $CLATTER_API_KEY" -H "X-Clatter-Account: $CLATTER_ACCOUNT_ID" \
  --data-binary @part-00000
  • If the bytes changed on the way, you get 400 checksum_mismatch: send the chunk again.
  • Every chunk response also returns the stored chunk's sha256, so you can compare.
